Description

Photographing cracks and crevices with sound
With Ultragraphyx sound is photographed so that the relative size of cracks and leaks is clearly displayed. Ultragraphyx is unique because the leakage of a structure is converted into a clear image, just like for it is done with the infrared camera using temperature. In a phase where the size of the leaks does not yet matter, for example during construction, a combination of heat detection (thermography) on inside and outside facades and ultrasonic measurement via ultrasonic waves can provide a good picture of the airtightness (crack seal) and thermal insulation.
