It appears that half of the people do not clean the ventilation properly. This is evident from research conducted by Feenstra. Yet 95% of participants realize that good ventilation can prevent moisture problems.<\/p>\n

Toch beseft 95% van de deelnemers dat een goede ventilatie vochtproblemen kan voorkomen. Furthermore, it appears that almost half of the residents with a ventilation system experience the noise of the ventilation motor as annoying. A quarter of people therefore sometimes turn it down.<\/p>\n

Feenstra<\/h2>\n

“The outcome is worrying,” says Henjo Groenewegen, Managing Director of Feenstra. “The research also shows that many of the Dutch people questioned do not know that these health complaints can be caused by poor ventilation. And that good ventilation can make these complaints go away.”<\/p>\n

“It is clear that poor ventilation poses health risks. Real estate agents and landlords should point out to residents much more about the use of the ventilation system present. In homes without a ventilation system, residents should be aware of the fact that they should regularly open doors and windows to ventilate. It can save a lot of physical discomfort, which residents probably don’t know is caused by poor ventilation.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n<\/div>\n
