ACIN instrumenten produces and delivers in-house developed air pressure gauges, switches and regulators such as the Betz micromanometer, the well-known PD(S) pressure switches and constant pressure and volume regulators for the gas safe areas on board of e.g. naval vessels. In addition, we also carry the pressure measuring equipment of brands such as Setra, Dwyer and DPM.

Types of air pressure gauges

The SI unit of pressure is Pascal, a commonly used unit in industry is the bar, 1 bar = 100,000 Pa. At sea level, our atmosphere has a pressure of approximately 1013 hPa or 1.013 bar or 1013 mbar.

We distinguish a number of forms of pressure for which different types of air pressure gauges are made. Absolute pressure is the pressure relative to 0 bar; relative pressure is the pressure relative to atmospheric pressure, negative pressure if lower than atmospheric, positive pressure if higher.

Automatic pressure regulators monitor the desired pressure difference. In range we have:
