Rotronic hand-held sensors are available in various versions. There is a distinction to be made between hand-held sensors that are used for HVAC applications, for example measuring in air ducts or in dryers or climate chambers. They measure up to 200°C. In combination with an HP32 or an HP23A, you have an excellent measurement for RH and T that you can take with you anywhere.

Furthermore, there are hand-held sensors from Rotronic that you can use to measure in bulk goods or in paper or cardboard. These sensors can be connected to the HP32 and HP23A, but can also be combined with the Rotronic HP23A-AW handheld meter for measuring water activity.

  • The HC2-HK25 from Rotronic is a hand-held sensor especially for measuring RH and T in ducts, dryers, climate chambers etc. and can have a temperature up to 200°C. The hand sensor is provided with a solid grip and must be equipped with a filter. The HC2-HK25 has a insertion length of 25CM and in case of the HC2-HK40 it is 40CM.
  • The HC2-P05 from Rotronic is a hand-held sensor that has a diameter of only 5MM and has an insertion length of 20CM. This type of sensor is often used to measure water activity in bulk materials like seeds, nuts, insulation materials and also in stones and concrete. Because of the open design it is recommended to measure in a dust free environment whenever possible.
  • The HC2-HP28 by Rotronic is more or less comparable with the HC2-P05 except that this hand-held sensor has a diameter of 10MM, an insertion length of 28CM and is equipped with a filter.
  • The HC2-HS28 is a hand-held sensor that is flat and made of aluminium. The thickness is 4MM and the length 28CM and with it you can measure in a stack of paper or cardboard and see what the water activity is. This sensor is suitable for measuring with the HP32, HP23A and the HP23-AW.
  • The HC2-HS42 is like the HC2-HS28 but is 42CM long.
